WELCOME TO VOLUNTEERING SUMMER FEST
Hello everyone! It's Berke, our project volunteering summer fest is finally started! and this is what we have done in the first week 😜 Tim's group built a locker for volunteers so everyone can put their important stuff in the vaults, in this 1-month volunteering summer fest journey, as they are living in their tents, they will need a locker :) Daryna and Mili's group started to re-arrange the roads near the theatre, it looks like they've come a long way already! When it come

A break from Bergolo: an experience in Holloko, Hungary
Hey everyone, These last 10 days, I had the opportunity to participate in a training course about well-being in Hungary! It was destinated for youth workers (facilitators, caregivers...) of all ages and different kinds of experiences in this field. Because working with social groups can be very draining and hectic, being conscious of what it is to be burned out and how close are we to getting into such a state is very important to keep our good health and our professionalism

Sefa's story is over.
Hello dear readers, I am here to tell you about this last post and what this fascinating year has brought me. An adventure that started with excitement, anxiety, and happiness ended with a wonderful experience. A year ago we settled in a small village in the north of Italy and together with seven other people from different cultures we completed a year of minimizing our lives. It was a unique opportunity to be part of Vitality and to spend a year full of what it brought me, t

Rome-ing 🥰
Hi lovelies, it's Mili again, and this time I am here to share with you my experience in Rome. Last week, Abdou and I have attended the On Arrival Training in Morlupo, Rome. We attended the training with many people from different countries, currently volunteering all over Italy. On this trip, I've gotten a chance to try the best carbonara, as well as some excellent vine. But this adventure has been so much more than just a culinary exploration. I've had the privilege to see

A fulfilling week
Ciao ragazzi!🖐 I'm Berke, a new volunteer in Vagamondo. as you know from the previous Monday blogs. I have been in Bergolo for 3 weeks and now it's my turn to write a Monday blog! As you know our team from the previous blogs, I want to tell you about what we have done this week. We have done a lot of things this week! First, we celebrated the birthday of one of our teammates, Abdou. We made a cake for him and prepared a T-shirt with all of our country flags as a gift. He rea

Exploring a new page of ours lives
Ciao! Daryna here ready to sprinkle some vitality vibes on you ✨🤗 These two weeks were special because the whole team started working in full. I'm writing this post in our diary, and I can't believe everything that happened for two weeks. Time flies quickly but productively👌 Believe me, even office work can not be a monotonous process, if the team works harmoniously, persistently! Introduction to rules and policy of Vagamondo, how to work programs, which are more convenient

Is this the end? 🐝
Reflecting on my journey, I still remember 1 year ago when I was packing my things in full panic mode (Of course I would leave packing for a few hours before my flight). I would collect my stuff, curious about what was about to follow. Many of my acquaintances and friends back then, would ask me what exactly I would do and if I would be able to spend a year in a place like Bergolo. Even during the year, when I was interacting with people from different Erasmus+ projects who w

The new team is reunited!
Hey there! 🖐 This is Ana, I'm the Portuguese member of this new international team that has gathered here in Bergolo. We, Ana, Mili, Daryna, Berke and Abdou, are all from different countries and I couldn't be happier with the cultural mix we are all emerging ourselves in. From different accents while speaking English, to little details such as how your name is culturally structured, we have had the chance of knowing a bit more about each one's path that lead us to cross live

Final chapter
Hello everyone! That is Angie with my last weekly post, which can be considered as my testimonial. My first weekend in Bergolo matched with Easter, and that day I realized, that if I want to continue spiritual practices, I have to go down and up on foot every Sunday – 8 km. As time showed me, it wasn’t the one challenge of my “Vitality”. Volunteering experience consisted of tense periods, isolation of the place, huge amount of work, not enough of organizing things and sometim
