Adventure continuous
Hello dear visitors of our blog. Now we have mixed team in our beloved Bergolo – volunteers of “Vitality 2022” and volunteers of “Vitality 2023”. It brings a lot different emotions, but we try our best to have a fruitful cooperation. Me (Angie), Milli, Sofi and Sefa gonna start a new path of life soon, meanwhile Milica and Abdo take the space in the organization instead of us. And they already have a good start! Milica is taking care of the sending project, searching for 11 p

Already one year
16/03/23 📆 Hello, it’s Tim and I take control of the Vitality blog this week! Last week, a ghost from the past popped up: our favorite ex-coordinator Flavio! For those who don’t know Flavio (shame on you!), he was our first coordinator with Silvia from March to June 2022. We missed all the positive vibes that he spread around him and we were happy to see him after so much time. A ghost from the past that appeared at the right time for Mia and Raul's last week of volunteering

Spring has sprung! 🌸
Hello everyone! 👋 My name is Milica, and I'm one of the new Vitality 2023 volunteers. Some of you may remember me from last summer, when I took part in the Volunteering Summer Fest. This time around, I have arrived in Bergolo just in time to enjoy the hills and valleys of Piedmont come alive with the vibrant colors of blooming flowers and trees. As spring is the time of renewal and rejuvenation, last week at the office was very eventful and productive. There was laughter, so

A New Journey Started
Hello everybody, It's Abdou, from the Vitality 2023 team! This is the first post for this year's Blog. On Monday, 13th of March, 2023, Milica Dordevic and me were the first arrivals of the new team. We were well welcomed that evening and a lovely reception was held the next day. I have to say that I'm personally astonished by how beautiful the region is, especially Bergolo. I take a lot of photos. It was a vibrant week. I learned a lot so far in many fields, and we partic

Between two seasons 🍃
07/03/23 📆 This season feels a little bit strange. As the weather transforms from winter to spring, the time of the first goodbyes approaches faster and faster. So the time for new arrivals that will happen soon. I have mixed feelings about this, as I am feeling that I am about to step out of a door but at the same time I want to stay behind with all that has happened the last 11 months for me... In any case, I will not keep the sentimental tone for more time. I will guide y

Closing of Vitality 2020 - Part 2
The second part of the Vitality Closing is here! As you already know, Veso left Bergolo one month ago to go for new adventures! He went back to Bulgaria and share about his volunteering experience with the volunteers of his sending organization Smokinya Foundation. Here is the video he made as a testimonial of his experience. Thank you Veso for all the effort and input you brought into Vitality during those months. We already miss you. We wish you all the best!

Closing of Vitality 2020 - Part 1
Welcome to the closing of Vitality 2020 - Part 1! In the last 6 months, we have been showing you where we have been, what we have done, our weekends, etc. But we thought it was time to summarize all our learnings in one infographic and a detailed PDF file with a more detailed information. Looking at the infographic we are really proud of all the things we done and built since we came here. Our dear Veso finished his volunteering a few days ago. He has been an amazing voluntee

Night lights
We were on a hunt for night photos of Chiesa Romanica "San Sebastiano" here in Bergolo. The lights during the night make this place look so mystical and often described by the nice man who is the mayor of the village Mario, as a romantic. The photos were used for the creation of a Christmas card, which is going to be send to the other municipalities with nice wishes.
