Bergolo is buzzing with the sounds of chatter, laughter and music as the first festival of this season arrives. Volunteers have been preparing the village for guests by: constructing a canopy and pallet furniture outside the office building, decorating the street of Bergolo (and reaching new heights while doing so), coordinating the event and making face paint for the visitors. We participated an ecological festival in the beautiful village of Bosolasco, where we did a workshop with natural paint for the kids. Also, we enjoyed inspiring projects, and meaningful conversations with like-minded people. Back at home, we’ve been working in the greenhouse of our vegetable garden — planting, watering, and preparing for a new season of fresh growth. The land is thriving! it’s time to update all of you on what we’ve been up to! The week was full of preparation and excitement because the first Team Volunteering project of the season started! Our VSF7 volunteers arrived after a long travel day and were greeted by our team of facilitators and volunteers. The next days after their arrival were filled with ice breakers, name games and team building activities. Our team gave them the great Bergolo tour, introducing them to all the important places:

As the last week start, so did a new season with the beginning of March. ✨ The volunteers undertake a Slavic tradition and did a big spring cleaning of their apartments, bungalows and offices. 💪 The garden is also preparing for spring. After three months of dedication, the greenhouse is finally complete and ready to host the first seedlings of the season. On January 22nd and 23rd, our Vitality team gathered for the usual annual team-building! During these days we participated in activities facilitated by @ls_bltbisca . We shared our motivation and goals, created the Skills and Connections Map, and deepened the systemic approach through the 'Postmen'. Even youth workers sometimes need inspiration! The next day we met to divide the responsibilities and plan the next season of projects in Bergolo, Monesiglio and abroad.

Hello there, folks, This is Ada with a slightly late Monday post and actually, my last Monday post, as I finish my volunteering this week. Since the office was still closed last week and people were on holiday, there’s really no news to share. So , I’ll just use this post as a quick thank you and goodbye to all of you. The past year has been hectic, to say the least. But I couldn’t be more thankful for all the wonderful people it has brought into my life, for all the travel I
