I’m excited to be in Bergolo, as this is my first ever volunteering experience!

I’m writing this on my second day here, so I’m still adapting but I had a great first impression of the village and the volunteers, who welcomed me warmly.

The idea of living in such a quiet, rural place sounded both peaceful and a bit mysterious. It felt like stepping into a slower rhythm of life, far from the noise and rush of cities.

I feel ready to embrace the experience with an open mind and heart
