The final stretch
Hey there! This week was like a final sprint. Indeed, during one month, we hosted 4 projects in a row and this week was the end of the last one: "Youth Work 2.0". This project was really special for our beloved coordinator Flavio. It was his first experience as a trainer. Objectively, he is the best trainer in the world (I don't lie, I’m just repeating what I heard from participants who offered him chocolates). He puts a lot of effort and investments into this role and it’s a

Never enough
Ciao tutti! It is Angelina. I came here from Belarus one month ago and this is my first experience in Vitality Monday post. So don’t be hard on me, please :) The biggest impression from last week was „pizza night”! Cascina Crocetta gathered us all together in its cosy atmosphere and chef Flavio gave us a pizza making workshop. 15 pizzas were done and eaten – good for us! But the process of cooking was so slooow – every pizza disappeared faster than the next one appeared. The

Very Short Monday Post
Buongiorno, world! It's Halyna (Mia but we'll talk about this change some day in the future) and this time I have no extra hours to think about editing pictures and making a story about every volunteer here. We just finished the " Bergolo Digitale " project and without proper rest started working on the "Festa dell'Europa". So if I forget about someone, just know that I still love you, guys. Brief feedback about my experience working in " Bergolo Digitale " team. I was respon

And here we go again! 🐝
Another week has passed and we are getting in the work mood once again. During the previous weekend we took a good rest and Monday we had plenty of energy to give. So what better way to express that energy other than trekking?? Fabrizio, Tony , Mili, Tim and Sofia embarked on a trekking activity in Cortemillia (led by New wellness education) along with lots of people who joined. Tuesday we were back again on track. This time we are hosting “Bergolo Digitale”. As you will noti

Do We Need A Heading Every Time?
Hello, people who were waiting for a new Monday post made by the Vitality team! Nice to see you again! This week, we started by joining the barbecue made for the "Teach and Learn" project participants. It was an entertaining outdoor experience with a lot of singing, dancing, and knowledge sharing. Restful and relaxed Monday. If we only knew that it was the last peaceful day of the week we would enjoy it even more. Are you intrigued? Oh, yeah, you should be. They say, sometim

Tuesday post. Just cause
Ok, here we go again. A week ago, Bergolo was on fire! Literally. We managed to resolve the issue with minimal damage. Rest in peace, Flavio's jacket. Oh, come on, you're Flavio's jacket. There will never be a possibility for you to rest. After fighting the fire we built a tent for the upcoming project activities. We put here the photos "before-after" as a reminder that we can do amazing things even if we think that we can't. It's a pity that there was no light when we were m

What a productive week we had!
Time in Bergolo is flowing in a way nobody can fully understand. Sometimes it feels like everything here just stopped, and nothing is happening. But then you look back and think: “What a productive week we had again!” We started the week with our first publication for New Wellness Education about our work in Cascina Crocetta. We finished designing our garden and even started planting! This achievement was inspiring for everyone here - Finally, we can visualize the results of

I See The Sky Full of Stars Behind the Snow Clouds
Dear Vitality team, I cannot believe that my volunteering experience in Bergolo has come to an end. It feels just like yesterday that we arrived here, ready to make a difference in this beautiful community. And to find Raul's suitcase (Only originals remember such important details, of course) I just wanted to take a moment to express how impressed and inspired I am by all of you. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for helping others is truly remarkable. I am amazed by h
