Days of joy and discover

Hope everyone had a good week!

My name is Adrianna and I’m the new volunteer! I arrived from Iceland just 6 days ago.

In the short time I have been here I have already fallen in love with Bergolo and even though this time of year there aren't that many projects going on, there hasn't been a dull moment around here! So here is a brief overview of the past couple of days.

On the day of my arrival, the amazing people of Bergolo organized a little welcome party, where I got to meet everyone. We played a game (courtesy of Ana), ate great food, and got to know each other.

In the past few days, we worked on the Hostel, which is coming together amazingly. Tomás has been working on some projects together and started to update the social media a little bit.

I got the chance to take some amazing photos of the beautiful sunsets around Bergolo and explore the area.

On Saturday, Tomás, Bahuhan, and Ana went for a hike. It was great, we did 17 km and hitchhiked our way back to Bergolo. It was the first time hitchhiking for me but not the last!

So that's about it for this week and I got to say it has been pretty great! Can't wait to see what the next week brings on, but I'm sure it's going to be just as great and I wish y'all the same!
